Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

Perishable and freshly sourced items may require additional preparation time to ensure quality and freshness before shipment.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.


Shipping Days

To help protect perishable products from extended transit times, some fresh or temperature-sensitive items may only ship Monday through Wednesday.

This helps reduce the risk of packages sitting in carrier warehouses over weekends.


Shipping Carriers

We primarily ship using USPS, UPS, and FedEx, depending on the size, destination, and contents of the order.

Carrier selection may change without notice to help ensure the fastest and safest delivery possible.


Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery times are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.

Most U.S. orders arrive within:

  • 2–7 business days for standard shipping

  • 1–3 business days for expedited shipping (when available)

Actual delivery times may vary due to weather, carrier delays, holidays, or high shipping volume periods.


Tracking Information

Tracking information is automatically sent by email once your order ships.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier system.


Multiple Shipments

Some orders may arrive in multiple packages to help prevent damage during transit or due to product availability from different fulfillment locations.

You will receive tracking information for each shipment separately.


Perishable Products

Certain products sold by West Indian Mart are perishable or temperature-sensitive.

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive perishable deliveries promptly upon arrival.

We are not responsible for spoilage caused by:

  • Delayed pickup from carrier facilities

  • Incorrect shipping addresses

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Packages left unattended after delivery


International Shipping

International shipping may be available on select items through supported shipping programs.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or country-specific restrictions.

Delivery times for international orders may vary significantly based on destination and customs processing.


Incorrect Addresses

Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

West Indian Mart is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses provided by the customer.

Additional shipping charges may apply for returned or redirected packages.


Lost or Delayed Packages

If your package appears lost or significantly delayed, please contact us, and we will assist in opening a carrier investigation when applicable.

While we will do our best to help resolve shipping issues, delivery delays caused by carriers are outside of our direct control.
